Located in the eastern coast of Spain, Alicante is a compact town with modern resort facilities and historical attractions which make a visit to this lovely seaport very exciting.  It offers a refreshing alternative to most other Spanish coastal resorts although visitors can certainly find plenty of pulsating nightlife, delicious local cuisine and a wide range of activities to indulge in this city.  Come and bask in the charming atmosphere of Alicante and you may end up discovering your latest favorite holiday destination.

With a population of over 300,000, Alicante offers classic and modern societies with business and pleasure, combining in harmony. Its history could be dated back to the third century before Christ where Greeks were the fist settlers, followed by Romans. Today Alicante is the second largest province of the Valencia region and thrives on a lively tourism industry.

At Alicante, visitors will find many finest beaches in Spain such as Playa de San Juan, often praised as one of the finest beaches in Spain.  The sandy Almadraba  and Albufereta beach are ideal for water sports    The last of the city's beaches is Saladar, broad, sandy and open. The pedestrian walkway here gives panoramic views of the bay of Alicante.
